The 80s, my favourite musical decade that brought us jewels like this. I mean the vid is pure 'fromage', I can barely watch it without heaving, like a car wreck-you shouldn't look but can't help it :-) With lead singer Leeeeeeeeeeeeeee (not sure I have enough e's at the end of his name, they rock!!

I am a massive fan of the sugababes and proud of it too. With their ever changing line up, they give Destiny's child a run for their money. I like virtually all their songs but this is one of my faves and it is great because it features the original line up of Siobhan, Keisha and of course the unforgettable girl with attitude Mutya.

I really like the fusion of French/Arabic rap/hip hop.

Okay the UK came joint last in this year's Eurovision song contest, oh well :-) Anyway Sertab is a previous (& deserved) winner of the contest for Turkey. This was not the winning song but I really like this one.

This is one of my chillout tunes. I really like Natacha Atlas and I especially like this version, which is not the same as the one on her album 'Gedida'. Still try to figure out the belly dancing part.

I love, love this song. It is seriously funkadelic. That is why You Tube is a god send because I get to see these old live performances. Whenever some old timer tells you that music in those days did not contain profanity, swearing etc, direct them to lwatch and isten to Bootsy talking about 'wanting to cream all over your face' that should keep them quiet :-)
